February Photo Shoot

So much to tell you and it's all because you matter to me!

I have some exciting news to share, a new survey, and my MOST RECENT PHOTO SHOOT!

First of all, I'm slowly coming out of the closet with showing my face.

I have fears about how my work could be used against me or my children; that is very true.

However, I don't feel like I'm living an authentic life by hiding a big part of who I am and how I fit into the world.

Since my page accounts for one of my main business activities now, and my face (and everything else) is visible to subscribers on that page...

...and because I feel that by showing my face, it will increase my odds of luring unsuspecting horny men to my fan account... (LOL)

...and because I really want my fan account to be successful and potentially a main income earner as I get older...

(Yes, I'm getting older and I have my retirement to think about.)

...and because I have a family to provide for and so many dreams for my children and future grandchildren...

...and because I am a loud and proud activist for sex worker rights which makes it likely I will eventually be outed anyhow...

...I have begun to be more open with friends about my work. And I've begun to peel back the layers online too.

To that end, my photos this week are pixelated, rather than blurred.

You can get a very good sense of what I look like if you've never booked with me before.

February 2020 Photo Shoot with Jonny Ray

Do you like my new hairstyle?

Want to hear a funny story?

When I bought this new lingerie set, I could only find crotchless panties to match the bra (and I loved the bra!).

But by the time the photo shoot rolled around, I had forgotten the panties were crotchless!

Imagine my surprise when I saw the proofs and realized my pussy is peeking out in a number of photos! HA!

I hope you enjoyed my February Photo Shoot!

On Friday, February 21, 2020, an Ontario couple won a case in which they challenged the laws that resulted in their charges.

From reading the news articles, it appears that the couple was running an escort agency.

They advertised, provided safety information to their workers, and provided security measures for their workers.

They were charged in 2014 with human trafficking, procuring, profiting, and advertising sexual services.

The human trafficking charges were dropped because DUH! They weren't human trafficking!

The other charges are ridiculous because they are based on the new laws put in place by the CONS after the previous sex work laws were struck down.

We all know the new laws are in many ways WORSE than the original laws that were struck down.

Like the rest of us, Tiffany Harvey and Hamad Anwar of Fantasy World Escorts knew when they were charged that the laws are unconstitutional.

So they bravely challenged the laws! BRAVO!

We are lucky in BC because our police don't enforce the sex work laws. They investigate based on complaints which has led to an increase in sex workers reporting crimes against them.

But this case has set a precedent. It is not binding in other provinces but it is a step in the right direction.

Susan Davis explains what this means for sex workers and clients across Canada in this article from The Naked Truth:

Ultimately, we will again challenge the laws and have them struck down again.

The tide of public opinion seems to be shifting away from the exploited whore to the empowered labourer.

Canada’s anti-prostitution laws are declared unconstitutional in Ontario lower court decision.

"Today, an Ontario judge struck down the advertising ban, concluding it wasn't a reasonable limit on the constitutional right to freedom of expression."

“Justice McKay . . . realized the dangers that exist and, indeed, are inherent in sex work, and the legislation the Harper government brought in increased their dangers and gave them no chance to properly protect themselves,” said James Lockyer, Anwar’s defence lawyer, after the decision was released.”

“The Crown argued that sex work cannot be made safe and says the legislation is constitutional.”

“Parliament has the power to regulate against nuisances, but not at the cost of the health, safety and lives of prostitutes. It is not a crime in Canada to sell sex for money,” Chief Justice Beverley McLachlin wrote in the 2013 ruling.

THANK YOU, GENTLEMEN! I hope you have a great week!

Love Annie xoxo
